Australian Catholic University (ACU) wanted to drive engagement of prospective students at open days and on social. To achieve this a custom-built interactive experience was created; The ACU Racer.
At open days, The ACU Racer game was activated on pop-up pods. Students could use their mobile phone as a controller to race around the onscreen track with the highest score winning a cash prize. A mobile version of the game was shared for the chance to beat their onsite score.

The pop-up pods visited Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane over the open day period and successfully drove social engagement with over 7,000 likes during the campaign.
To support the activity, large scale building projections raise awareness of upcoming open days in major cities.
